Held a stall at Mayfest 2005 with Maureen's electric car and free energy saving light bulbs.

Protested at the G8 environment meeting in Derby

Joined forces with the Green Party and Greenpeace to highlight the start of Kyoto

Contacted 403 potential local election candidates about their stance on the environment.

Taken part in the Recycling Day of Action to encourage better doorstep recycling.

Handed out free light bulbs when people signed up to green energy and also gave away water saving bags.

Sent letters supporting wind farm developments in the Yorkshire area.

Provided interviews for a Film called Get Over It. The film looked at jobs and economics.

Contacted garages about stocking bio-diesel for cars.

Helped stop an Asda store from being built in Hillsborough. We also helped a group from Swansea fighting an Asda development.

Held a successful 30th birthday party. Displayed our 30th presentation in the central and Walkley library

Invited Sheffield’s only green councillor to our general meeting.

Invited the Council to one of our meetings to give a presentation about what they are doing for the environment.

Several members attended the local groups’ conference in Leicester.
